Day One - Arrived Munich - 17:35, Drove to Garmisch-Partenkirchen 1.5 hours. Stayed at Familihotel Leiner.
In view to all of Garmisch were the ski jumps from the 1936 Olympics

Day 2 - Departed next morning for visit to Schloss Linderhof, Schloss Neuschwanstein, & Schloss Hohenschwangau. Late afternoon of Day 2, we checked in at Armed Forces Recreation Center Edelweiss.

Day 3 - Morning departure for visit to Oberammergau, then returned to Garmisch to catch train to Munich. Visit Marienplatz and Oktoberfest. Since we last visited in 1992 there are now too many drunks.

Day 4 - Drove to Appenzell, Switzerland. Stayed with Lydia Mock Innen where we stayed in 1992. Visited Cheese Factory and Heritage Museum at Stein.

Day 5 - Drove to Interlaken. Took train to Kleine Scheidegg but Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau were covered in clouds. Dinner in Interlaken.

Day 6 - Drove to Innsbruck via Lichtenstein, Sightseeing in old downtown. Visited the Golden Daschl. Stayed in Hall in Tirol at Gasthaus Badl and had dinner at a great restaurant.

Day 7 - Drove to Berchtesgaden again rain and clouds. Then on to Halstatt. Stayed in Obertraun with dinner in Obertraun. Good weinersnitzel.

Day 8 - Stayed Halstatt. Toured oldest salt mine in the world and slid down the famous slides. Shopped along water front Hallstatt.

Day 9 - Drove to Salzburg. Toured Salzburg and shopped. Dinner at Saran Essbar.

Day 10 - Stayed Salzburg. Toured the Cardinal's Palace "The Monch" Hohensalzburg Castle. Shopped Getreidegasse. Attended Mozart Conzert Dinner.

Day 11 - Drove to Munich Airport to fly Munich to Los Angeles

Day 12 - Drove to San Francisco Bay Area

Day 13 - Drove home to Twin Falls.
