People who are not going to stay up in the mountains just park and ride up for the day. Since we were going to explore and stay we decided to drive up to Grindlewald. There are two valleys of choice. The one on the left heading south and east leads to Grindelwald and the one on the right headed south leads to Lauterbrunnen, Murren and Gimmelwald. Both places have train connections to Kleine Scheidegg for access to the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau Peaks.
