LOUGHCREW
We arrived at Loughcrew House on a fine Sunday afternoon in beautiful County Meath, Republic of Ireland. This house was basically destroyed by fire and neglect and is being restored by Charles and Emily Naper. The Naper family has owned the house and land for over 400 years.

While Charles Naper's family has had roots here for over 400 years, Emily comes from England. Her Father, Sir Francis Dashwood, resides at West Wycombe which is west of London between London and Oxford. She has lived with fine and precious furnishings all her life.

Charles and Emily bring individual talents and gifts that are blending to make this a memoriable estate again.

The left button takes you to Emily's Loughcrew Studio, School of Gilding and Decorative Finishes and the right button takes you to the house, surrounds and countryside. Both were worth the trip alone for us.

The forward button moves on towards Donegal and Western Ireland.
