Scotland is special! We liked Ireland, the South, Central and Lake District of England (had not visited Northeast England yet) and Wales; but Scotland proved the best. The scenery was an exceptional mixture of water and land combining the seas and lakes with pastures and mountains. All throughout was a feeling of permanence and continuation. Not inflexibility with no progress, but the ability to absorb the modern while maintaining the traditions of the Scottish culture. It was grand and the people we met were exceptional! Scotland, we loved and hope to go back and spend a little more time someday. So enjoy our tour by following the right button.
