The B&B's we list are those we stayed in and can recommend to you. Where we found one less than expected and would not stay there again, we have left them out. Therefore, you will not find a B&B listed at every location wherein we traveled.

Staying in a B&B is not for everyone. We find it rewarding to stay in someone's home and being able to meet, greet and become friends with our hosts and other guests.

However, a B&B is not a hotel. You must carry your own bags and remember that a room on the second floor is really the third floor in Ireland & UK. The 1st floor is the ground floor.

The other side of the coin is that it is much more personal, with better breakfasts, more reasonable in prices, easier parking and significantly more homey!

We stay in hotels only as a last resort! Join us! It is worth it.
