THE HIGHLANDS
OF SCOTLAND

We left the Lake District and drove north through Glasgow. It used to be a dirty, poor, shipbuilding and industrial town; but now is modern and clean. Just to the north is this famous body of water. Can you guess?

It is the Bonnie, Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond! Back in 1955, I had tea at an Inn here with a Scottish Lass I had met at a US Coast Guard Cadet party in Glasgow when we were in port on the training sailing ship, Eagle.
